The ANSI/IWCA I-14 Standard was approved by ANSI on October 25, 2001 as an American National Standard. It is rapidly becoming recognized as the primary guide to window cleaning safety nationally. All states have begun to adopt the I-14 Standard.
With the support of BOMA, the standard seeks to consolidate existing Federal OSAN regulations and other relevant ANSI Standards relating to regulated equipment and practices. Under the new guidelines, window cleaners and commercial property professionals each have specific requirements that need to be fulfilled. For more information on the guidelines and how it affects your business, call your local BOMA Chapter or go to www.boma.org, or www.iwcs.org or call us for more information.
With one call, you can request your initial and annual anchor-point inspection while arranging to have your property’s window cleaning and other exterior building maintenance performed to your satisfaction. We welcome the opportunity to discuss a plan that will make the I-14 Standard easier for your company to implement and yet help you maintain your property in a cost-efficient manner.
